Navigation in the mobile application Mapy.com is used for convenient route guidance for the selected mode of transport. It helps you easily find the fastest or most suitable route to your destination considering specified criteria and provides clear visual and voice instructions during your journey. Mapy.com navigation is available for Android and iOS, including support for Android Auto and CarPlay.

How to start navigation
- Plan a route or select a route you’ve saved in My Mapy
- Select the appropriate mode of transport by clicking on the icon (car, walking, bike, skis, and boat). Selected transport modes (skis, boat) may not always be available
- If necessary, specify details for the selected mode of transport. Individual transport modes have the following settings options:
- Car
- Fast with traffic: Considers traffic in selected countries (CZ, SK, PL, AT)
- Fast: Optimized for time without considering traffic
- Short: Optimized for distance without considering traffic
- Avoid toll sections: Activates or deactivates the inclusion of toll road sections (e.g., tolls in tunnels or on bridges, etc.) in route planning
- Avoid motorways (only Premium): Activates or deactivates the inclusion of motorway roads in route planning
- Walking
- Bike
- Skis
- Skis
- Ski touring (only Premium)
- Car
- Choose the preferred route from the displayed alternatives
- Tap on Navigate and start your journey
- Navigation will automatically start from your current location and the map will center on your position
During navigation, you can change the route settings or end it at any time using the on-screen buttons.
To utilize all navigation features (such as considering current traffic information), having an active internet connection is necessary. For offline use, you need to download the map data to your device in advance. Basic navigation usage does not require logging in; however, to use premium features, you need to be logged in with a user account.
