Route Planning

Route planning serves to:

  • Find the optimal route between two or more points for the selected type of planning (car, walking, cycling, skiing, water, public transport)
  • Display route details (length, duration, elevation profile, weather along the route, route itinerary, etc.)
  • Customize the route according to user preferences

Differences and limitations of different types of planning

By car
  • Option to choose between the fastest route (considering traffic), the shortest route, and avoiding tolls
  • Available worldwide, in selected countries (CZ, SK, PL, AT) it also considers current traffic conditions and closures
By bike
  • Choice between planning for bicycle touring, mountain biking, or road cycling
  • Default speed for planning is 18 km/h
  • Available worldwide
On foot
  • Option to prefer outdoor routes, in Premium also planning through via ferratas or with a sport stroller
  • Default speed for planning is 4 km/h
  • Available worldwide
On skis or cross-country skis
  • Planning on cross-country skiing routes or ski-mountaineering routes
  • Available worldwide
By boat

Available only on selected streams within the Czech Republic.

By public transport

Planning public transportation is currently available only on the web and primarily within the Czech Republic.
