Smart watches

The Mapy.com app supports smartwatches running Apple Watch and Wear OS. With an active Mapy.com Premium subscription, you can use features on your watch like navigation, which provides haptic feedback instead of voice prompts, and a separate Tracker feature to record activities without your phone.

Functions

Navigation

Navigation is only available when your phone is paired with your watch. The watch is used to display the navigation instructions running in the app on the phone. It works for all types of navigation: by car, on foot, on bike. Instead of voice instructions, it offers haptic response by vibrating. You can find the vibration settings in the app on your phone (Menu – Settings – Watch).

Tracking tool

The Tracker function on your watch can run independently, even when your watch is not connected to your phone. The tracker records common statistics such as distance, elevation, speed, pace, heart rate or current altitude. The activity can then be saved from the watch and can be found later on your phone in My Mapy – Activities. Saving from the watch to the phone will only happen when the watch is paired again.
