Issue Reporting

  • Click the Tools button in the lower right corner of the map
  • In the Map Editing section, choose the type of error that best matches your situation
    • Problem with Mapy.com Premium: If you have a note regarding the purchase of a premium subscription or its features
    • Add a missing place: If you have found a place in the field that is missing on Mapy, whether it’s a geographic point or a business
    • Add your business: If you are a business owner and want to be visible on Mapy. If your business is registered in the Czech Republic, you’ll be redirected to the business catalog where you can register the business yourself; for foreign entities, a form to add a new point of interest will open
    • Error on the map: If you have found discrepancies in the map data on Mapy, e.g., the actual path course does not match the map, the path is impassable, the location of places on the map does not match reality
    • Something is not working: If you are having technical issues, a functionality is not accessible, etc.
    • Feedback on Mapy.com: If you have an idea or suggestion for improvement, a new feature, or general feedback
  • Fill out the details, or mark a specific place on the map. The more detailed the information, the faster the report can be reviewed and rectified. You can mark a specific place on the map using the mouse or draw a correction
  • If you have a photo of the place, a route record, or another file documenting the error, you can also send it to us
  • If you want to send feedback on your report, please also fill out your email address. We will let you know
  • Click the Send button. Then it’s in the hands of our operators. We typically fix the errors within a few days, and Mapy.com will be even better thanks to you

You can also report an error in Panorama mode, e.g., if you notice a face or vehicle registration plate is not blurred in the image or the imaging car was on private property. Just click on the three dots at the top right and select the appropriate option. Your report will then be directly linked to the specific image, and we will process it faster.

Drawing an error directly on the map

You can add an image to the error description to assist us in assessment. The cursor over the map changes to a pencil after you click on Error on the map. Indicate the error with any motion of the mouse (mark the correct location, draw the correct route of a hiking trail, or complete part of a missing building).

If your sketch on the map does not turn out well, you can erase part of the drawing by clicking the Eraser button to change the pencil to an eraser. Clicking the Draw on the map button restores the pencil, and you can continue drawing. To remove the entire drawing, click the New sketch button. To move the map, choose the Control the map button, and to return to drawing options, select Draw on the map.
