Creating Custom Points

On the website, you can manually create your own points, share them, save them in My Mapy for future use, export them to GPX, or use them to determine GPS coordinates.

To create your own points, click the Tools button in the bottom right of the map and select the Create Point File option, then click on the desired location on the map. You can also create a custom point by right-clicking on the map and selecting the Add Custom Point option. You can rename and save the newly created point. The GPS coordinates of the point are also displayed immediately. Follow the same procedure to add more points. Individual points can then be grabbed and dragged to a new location on the map. The position and GPS coordinates are automatically recalculated. An unsatisfactory created point can be removed by clicking on the trash can icon. By clicking the Edit button, you can change the name or copy the GPS coordinates afterwards.

Custom points on the map are temporary and private (they are not part of the public profile). For future use, save the points in My Mapy, and you can share them with other users using the Share function. To permanently add a point to the map, you can report a missing point via Tools, Add a missing place or Add your company.
