Which browsers are supported?
Only the current and one or two previous versions of the most recently released number series of browsers are supported:
- Microsoft Edge
- Mozilla Firefox
- Opera
- Google Chrome
- Safari
- Seznam browser
The map is not displaying. What should I do?
- Ad blocking is activated, or the firewall is incorrectly configured: Disable the ad blocking function in your browser, or add the server www.mapy.com to your exceptions. Check the firewall settings.
- JavaScript is not enabled: If only the header with the Mapy.com logo loads and a blank page instead of the map, you probably do not have JavaScript usage enabled in your browser. Check your browser settings and enable JavaScript.
- Error in Mozilla Firefox: Enter about:config in the address bar and press Enter. Type the word dom into the Filter field and make sure the dom.disable_image_src_set preference is set to false.
- Error in Internet Explorer: If only the Mapy.com header loads and a blank field instead of the map, press Ctrl and F5 simultaneously.
The map is tearing and white stripes are appearing
Map tearing and displaying of white stripes occur when using the Internet Explorer 10 web browser with zoom settings over 100%. Unfortunately, we cannot detect and respond to this setting. The immediate resolution to this issue is unfortunately only to change the zoom setting back to 100% (Settings, Size, or Ctrl+0) or change the web browser.
The planned route does not move in sync with the map scrolling
This issue falls into the same category as map tearing. The unintended route shift against the map background only occurs when using the Internet Explorer 10 web browser with zoom settings over 100%. The immediate resolution to this issue is unfortunately only to change the zoom setting back to 100% (Settings, Size, or Ctrl+0) or change the web browser.
